I was wandering if council can drop runes like ber , jah, cham, zod. If it does seems like one of the best places to farm with a barbarian.

- is very easy to acces
- there are a lot of chests out there + a gold one
- there are 5 killable targets ( usually ) so 10 council boss drops ( usually )

From ur experience did any of u find any of those runes i mentioned ?. My highest rune there was Lo until now but i didnt farm them so much.

I have tryed many places and until now countess semed the most profitable but olso she wont drop very high runes. She only game me 2 bers , 1 sur + 1 ber made from lower runes like vex, ohm, lo. Curently my stack is 1 cham, 7 bers. Iso more.

ya - they can drop those runes, but they aren't real frequent rune droppers.

The best way to find runes is either kill a LOT of things or hit the 2 runes bosses. The values that the rune bosses can drop are listed in the Strategy section of blue.arimyth.com - http://blue.arimyth.com/RuneFinding.html

sorry for the noobish question, but after looking at nil/countess drops and seeing that neither drop zod.. where is the place to find zod? An area with lvl 90+ monsters? I don't see the mlvl areas listed anywhere..

This is the closest thing to that: http://blue.arimyth.com/AreaLevels.html

I haven't updated it in a while, but should be pretty on target. It is in the "Information" section.

flayer jungle in hell can drop up to jah. I've gotten sur, ber, lo and jah in 5 or 6 runs through there... I think it has to do with the # of monsters you come across, so tightly packed into 1 area. ezpz farming imo

nice part about the flayer dungeon is the ghost class monsters that are more likely to drop runes than other monsters.

they drop more runes...
something about them not dropping armor or weapons or some thing like that. Can't remember, just know from long ago that they drop more runes, id scrolls, and maybe other light weight stuff. Was one of blizzards idea of making things more realistic (WTF wisp! Where did you have that ancient armor stuffed?)

That's why I clear lake of the dead.
if you're lucky you can find jah on tundra nm, I found like 2 and few bers on anc way. But flayer dungeon is better if you can deal with triple immuns.
