What dmg type is that crap that monsters like Moloch and leo cast at ya that black crap and i know its not magic dmg so don't even say it is 75 % magic dmg reduction does nothing to defend it. Its seems like there is no def to it what so ever.

I've always thaught of it as a physical version of holy bolt. I say physical only because of doing diablo twice yesterday with my lvl 45ish sin.

fade wore off mid fight and they were really hurting, then once fade was cast the damage was alot more managable. This could be because it got through her block a few times in a row when fade wore off and she was getting lucky with blocking after that (coincidence?) and it was just the poison that was dealing the damage. I would say its physical damage though

i will have to try max block then just to see if its phy dmg . Its just nasty at times.

Are those bolts blockable by non-assasins? I haven't noticed, but it's been a while. Not all phyical damage is blockable, just consider Shockwave, WarCry, or MoltenBoulder. I think Phys res is all you can do, but at least it's not decreased with each difficulty

No its not, clawblock is the only skill that can block anything, besides dodge evade etc. Its An anti-bolt, aka exact opposite of holy bolt, where as holy bolt heals, really hurts undead, and it magic, anti hurts, heals undead, and is physical.

This is what i have gathered at least, do correct me if im wrong
