So I just started hell unleashed recently and i've played a summoning necro and discovered that multiple golems can be summoned at once....

Is that true of the Wolf/Bear summons of a Druid as well?

In 1.21 you can summon grizzly and each of wolves (spirit + dire). In previous version y could summon only 1 type of wolves

The rabies bugi hear people talking about, is that on version 1.10? and what exactly does that do?

HU is based off of Diablo 2 version 1.10. In that version, charges of skills will synergize with their appropriate synergy skills only if you don't already have those skills.

With Rabies, there was a ring (Carrion Ring) that had charges of lvl 30 PoisonCreeper. If a Rabies druid had never put a point into that vine, then he could wear the ring and get a 30*33=990% bonus damage to Rabies. Now that the charges were removed, a druid can only get 20*33=660% bonus damage to rabies by spending 20 hard points in the PoisonCreeper skill. You can imagine how abusing that ring to save 20 skill points and gain 50% damage over what was legitly possible is pretty sexy.

Another skill that can be slightly abused this way is Enchant, using the lvl 25 Hydra charges on the unique hydra blade. However, there isn't much gain in that case, and it's a bit of a hassle to not use Hydra often.

<edit>Removed the "Only Enchant can be abused this way", since any charges of spells can be used to synergize the skills being cast by any player, even item procs</edit>

What about Marrowwalk? It has lvl33 bone prison charges.

that does work for the necro, but the only benefit you get from that is bone armor and bone wall, teeth, spear and spirit doesnt have that as a synergy.

And by the way, you can summon multiple vines too.

It's been changed so you can summon all 3 vines now? I thaught it was still psn creeper and 1 other one carrion/solar?

Tried it today, and I could summon all 3, along with 6 spirit wolves, 3 dire wolves, 1 bear and 1 spirit (+6 ravens).

I'm not sure what I think of that tbh. I knew all wolves, dires and grizzly could be up though.

I liked it being able to summon carrion OR solar personaly. If you have 3 wolves eating corpses, a carrion vine AND a solar creeper, I can see the carrion vine having even less corpses to munch on. couple in ce from a nec and i could cut it down even more. I liked being able to run carrion, then when low on mana, cast a solar to recover mana quickly then re-cast carrion.

Maybe after trying it out on a build i`ll see things in a new light, at the min tho, im not sure.
