someone explain the feral rage.. dmg boost to me.. the charges won't list their dmg... so if I'm doing 15k before using feral charges.. and feral is about lvl 25
whats my actual dmg.

the damage from feral don't go up as it charges, it has a static ED% when using it, only the FRW increases

I haven't played one personally, but I think that Soulmancer changed the attack animation from the claw hit (bear/wolf swings arm) to the bite hit (bear/wolf lunges forward and takes a bite). That means that the attack animation is a lot faster and very fast breakpoints are available. Fast attack = much damage.

If this is true, then the information in my frostbite guide should apply - you just use fire instead of cold: http://www.mrfixitonline.com/viewtopic.php?t=2917. It also means that the build is very powerful.

I am going to assume weapon damage. Why do you ask?

im not sure what you mean by is it weapon or skill damage.

as I understand it from my frostbiter it is skill damage added to your attack. As +skill damage adds to your frostbite. The frostbite and fireclaws are pretty uch the same build. You can read about mine here viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4

there is a link to a short video at the bottom demonstrating the sheer damage output and counters caused by a super fast attack speed

Yeh, skill damage applied by your weapon, much the same as enchant. The damage on your weapon will not affect the frostbite damage. The reverse is vengance as the damage is based on your weapon damage

yeh, early game your frostbite damage will be pretty crappy, its good to get a point in it while you do your lifebuffs. So early game you will need more high damage weapons, try to keep the speed high though. If you can find another druid to run with you can max lycan first then do your cold skills and do oak later. The phys damage from gris caddy is about 5k with that setup. Thats more than enough to leech comfortably. You will really want amp damage curse over lr unless the boss is phys immune. The amp will help your leech alot and you should be able to use a mix of "caster" equip on him so you can get alot of passive pierce anyway.

I think mine had around 87% passive pierce, thats pretty decent on a melee based build. Even against the immunes though, the speed was just so high that they fell in no time at all. I would highly recomend gris caddy to these builds, Najs staff before that is a great choice and runemaster before that (it has a slow base speed but the 3 skills and cant be frozen is fantastic, 4 ms amethysys will keep you attacking at a decent rate). all with ms amethysts to keep the speed up
