 Post subject: Fire/light assassin?

Hey there

I wanna build a trap sin like good old times on bnet. But i dunno which skills to go for. Lightning sentry seems the obvious choice, but I've seen a lot of fire sins around too. What are your experiences?

Another thing. Besides 60 points in traps, which other skills should sin go for?? Martial arts seem pretty useless, and not that many shadow disciplines seems nice either. Maybe fade and cloak of shadows can be used, but what else? Dont see that many great skills in her table.

Both fire&light are great and viable. Simply choose your preference. As for what to max after traps, consider fade, death sentry, or the shadows.

maybe fade? thats like saying maybe god mode =/ i'd say fade is a must if you have the points, granted the returns aren't the best for all 20 pts, but in hell every res pt counts. last skill, i like the shadows, but delay time is absolutely dreadful. its like 30 seconds lol.

GL. I've seen many trap sins already and they seem to be doing fine

Ill go for lightning then. And fade - yeah. Maybe a skill in cloak of shadows to help the amas and necros with bosses. For gear, ill go for either Vizjerei's Snare or Night Hand - both give sin skills + socket, so I can put Ort runes everywhere :)

For low lvl gear, I think ill go for:
Lenymo
Peseant Crown
Magefist
Crafted light skill boots
Dual Night Hand with 6x Ort runes
Sin skills amu
2x Soj
Sparkling mail/heavenly garb.

+9 skills and lots of light skill dmg.

There is no good runewords for trap sin at low-mid lvl, right? Cant seem to find any useful ones.

Fade does have diminishing returns though unless that was changed?
I always max master, but that's just me.

just to let you know cloak of shadows doesnt work on bosses and a few mobs. will work on most champ/unique monsters but are unaffected by the skill's blindness.

What good will master do for a caster?

shadow master is a decent tank. since they dont cast mind blast anymore they are more managable.

Oh, thought u meant claw master, lol :)

I have another question. For Mythias Crown (uniq coronet, +2 skills, 3 socket), what should I put in it?

I've considered filling it with moonstone diamond for damage and magic damage reduction. Maybe rubys for life. Ohm could be awesome, but no way im getting that.

What are your suggestions?

Amethysts for str, rubies for life or diamonds. Dr and mdr works well if you get enough of it. In late nm->hell you'll need life more than that though.

And yea, I meant shadow master :)
I love them and the valkyrie for their tanking abilities when I play ranged chars.
