I'm looking into making a mercs page for critterkillers site, what information would be useful to know for mercs? Obviously what equipment they can use and which types have which skills, but would there be a use for some sort of skill calculator (where you put in your merc type and level, and it returns the levels of their skills, and possibly stats)? Maybe show the range of levels available to hire for each act/difficulty. Any input would be great. x3ro |

Additional merc questions that would be useful would be: 1. What are the benefits/consequences to hiring a new merc vs leveling your old merc? 2. How do you get your merc to catch up in levels? 3. What are the IAS/FCR levels required to hit various breakpoints for mercs? I can help you with questions 2 & 3, but I don't really know the answer to 1 - so no help there. One side note, I suspect that A1 mercs use bow speeds to calculate IAS breakpoints rather than xbow speeds as the game engine isn't built to handle A1 mercs with xbows. This may be the big reason why going with an xbow on your A1 merc is almost alway the best idea. That allows you to use http://diablo3.ingame.de/tips/calcs/wea ... ng=english to work out breakpoints. im pretty sure they dont learn the new abilites if u have a normal one vs a nm one.... my a3 merc is a normal merc and still hasnt learned blizzard at lvl 70... so i think if u want the extra abilities, you have to rehire i think.. |
