I've got a level 81 wind druid and I'm wondering how to gear my a1 merc. I've gone for the runeword 'brand' for amp damage to boost my tornado damage. What about the rest of the gear? Ammy? Rings? Helm? Armor? etc.. Thanks! Edit: Also, any idea where to find a cursed amulet? I've gone through the whole of NM and haven't found one. Is there an ideal place to farm it? |

leoric for the amu. for the merc, get her plenty IAS since she wont have fana, (unless you use faith on switch i guess). anything with ias, so atmas armour with emeralds, I would use ele set to keep her res up and some good blood gloves with dex and ias. crown of thieves is good for ias, leech res and dex. War travs and razortail belt. That should be plenty for her. |

thanks. I made my brand in a pellet bow (-30), so she has insanely fast attack speed already. |

damn. i havent been picking up grand charms. -.- the merc build u suggested lacks resistances especially poison. So i swapped the armor and helm for 4 socket uniques and put in Um runes. =S btw whats the drop rate of the unique charms frmo bosses? I've killed andariel like 15 times and havent got the charm.. |

yea sometimes it takes maybe 1 day to get soulmancer parts.... but sometimes its take 1-2-3-4-5 years to get it of the gay mod... and zod u can find in 1 sec... thats why i stop play  have a nice day |

What's the drop rate of unique charms from Hell Bosses? I've killed Andariel 15 times and she still hasn't dropped hers! Also, none of these setups seem to provide enough resistances. =( Merc needs around 250 all resists to take into account lower resists/conviction. Bow + razortail belt + war travs doesnt give resistances. My crafted gloves gives IAS, dex,life, cb, life leech. so its too could to throw away. So basically i'm left with armor, helm, rings, ammy to get 250 resistances. 4 socket helm + 4 socket armor give 160 resistances with Ums. So i need 90 all resistances from rings/ammy. Ele set doesnt provide enough poison resistances.. |

no need high res on a1 merc, as she isn`t melee. anyway, if y wanna high res - use Constricting Ring there is a lot easy find items that provide res:kira,mancer combo(gloves/boots), holy craft armor with double res,rare ammy with all res etc. |

Thanks. Don't have constricting ring yet. Well I find my a1 merc dying alot to poison. I guess maybe I'll go with dual nature's peace rings or something.. Is there something i need to do before i can get the unique charms from hell bosses? I've ran andariel about 25 times now and havent got her charm. |

oo. if i cast my oak, and then cast sob from my wisp, i can have both? Or will the sob overide my oak? Can somebody answer me regarding my question abt hell boss charms? Am i just unlucky or i'm doing something wrong? btw where/what does ROF stand for? |

sorry, forgot you are a druid,  if poison is hurting the merc really badly, just flash sob when she gets poisoned (after killing the mobs) to clear the poison off her.you are just having bad luck with the drops, keep trying RoF is short for River of Flame. |

Thanks for answering all the questions concisely! I know i keep asking questions but heres two more. ha. What damage do hammers do? 50% magic 50% physical? or 100% magic? I recalled that it was the first, but i'd just like to double confirm. Also which bosses drop keys? |

oh man, i feel like i'm spamming. ha. which bosses drop keys for LOS? Which builds can do LOS for solo edition? Wind druid or hammerdin? Or only melee builds? |

Keys List Solo LoS is abit tricky since all bosses have an immunity that you wont be able to break alone. You will need ALOT of life to solo it. My pally has 35k life and 1 psy hammer from the assasin drops me to 50%, the pallys hammers hit for about 7k each and his FoH is deadly. The barbs warcry is nasty but he isn't too bad apart from that. The necro is extremely nasty, 15k spears, 7k teeth, curses and bone prisons. Druid is probs the worst, he killed my original pally (27-28k life) with what looked like a single blow (was combo of 2 tornados, volcano and fury though). The sorc is weak but she teleports around alot and the zon is pretty weak too. A hammer pally could manage it with a good crushing blow setup to smite with, you will need to be extremely twinked to have enough life though. A full inv of 20 life sc's, with war and 2 good 300 life blood rings should push him to around 11k life before buffs, you will need cta on switch for a decent bo to go with it. A barb will do well too if you get his life good and high (should manage 20k if you are setup really well), you will need to use zerk on the LoS barb though since he is phys immune so you will take ALOT of hits from him. A meteor sorc would also work but you will want 200fcr and a decent damage on TK to kill the druid (you can knock him back and pin him with TK). Blaze would also work well. Fbite/claw druid would work since only the zon is cold immune and the phys side would kill her with a little CB. As long as you can get 2 forms of damage you shouldbe ok (lots of life too). Good luck, its really fun

Sounds fun but insanely hard. -.- I'll level up wind druid and hammerdin to 100 first and give it a go. Seems like the strat is to go for survivability over damage. 7k hammers is really low lol. |

Yeah, so I guess melee builds are best for LOS.. probably have to twink gear specific for each shadow.. Are the shadows spread out or clustered together? |
