Looks like you need at least 186 before you can get this set on. Once you have the 186 strength, you can put on the gloves & belt and get another 60 which will let you get everything else equipped.

I assume that to get to 186 strength you can:

20-30 str from Anni
30-40 str from Blood Craft Rings x2

That will get you a total of about 80-110 str, leaving about 76-106 strength that you need to make up. Do people often just bug to get it on (circlet with 4x amethyst or something) or are there easier ways?

Am I missing something?

if items are being changed id rather see req reduced, it takes an enormous amount of str to equip the set. most other later game set ups wont require that kind of investment, so most ppl wont bother putting stats into str for a temp set up...

To be honest, we should just set all items to require 0 strength as no one really wants to use that stat anyways *sarcasm*

you are saying that somebody is going to try and equip IK set using the str boost from anni. please, think about it for a second and ask yourself why a 95 or whatever the req on anni is (never had one) is going to still be using IK. They have already killed hell baal so its not like they havent had a chance to find better gear. if the str req for IK is not reduced then increase it for the far superior options. as it is now, why would i invest close to 180 str to wear a set from 80-early 90's maybe.

also i see no reason to pretend like ppl want to put pts into str. aftermath at least made a reason to put points in other stats. its been long agreed on for many many years here that pts that are not in vita hurt your end game life total and therefor your characters overall survivability.

so back on target, pretty much blood craft rings and some strong amulet to glitch it on, then let the +str bonuses carry you through.

ok, the dev team has already wiped out the str boost on blood rings so it seems like the only way people are going to be able to use this set is to actually dump 100-150pts in to strength? Or am I missing something?

so long as you understand any str gained from anni is pretty not helpful for equipping the set.
dual wielding a +str weapon on switch is also a way to get some temp + str
edit beat me to the switch weapon.

Ok, so Fal swords (one sword would get you +120 str) to get you to 176, then 3x ether or will get you +90 str. Once you take away the Fal swords, I believe you will need at least 86 str or else the helm will go red and you will fail.

That doesn't mean 86 hard points though, you can probably pick up about 40str in rings/charms/amulet or whatever dropping you down to an investment of about 46 strength to wear this set.

Am I doing the math correctly?

remember that the str from the gloves and belt are added too, so you get 90 from the helm, + the added str from belt and gloves. It covers it completely with a minimal str investment

erm, let me think now. You can get 170 from the helm, gloves, and belt, with no other sources of str (rings and amu) thats 62 left. then you start with 5 so 57 actual points need to be spent. People will usualy have str from a ring or amu, so say 10 minimum from that. so the player would need to spend about 47 stat points in str. I prefer to add to str personally to open up gear options early on. Minimal investment is needed though. For example, eddies maul druid uses tyraels armour and thats a 5/5/xxx/5 stat build.
