 Post subject: The inevitable: ChiasticsTwo (MP)

Okay, so for my current design I have decided to remake my defective bonemancer, Chiastics, into one with summons. The change in layout has made the current setup suffer a little but so far, with a bit of help with the golems and some friends, he's at the end of act 2.

Projected setup so far:

1 Clay Golem
1 Blood Golem
1 Iron Golem
1 Force Golem
1 Golem Mastery

20 Teeth
20 Bone Spear
20 Bone Spirit
1-5 Bone Armor

1 Decrepify

This gives me 20 points to play with. The question is this: Like most summoners, should I go straight towards maxing Golem Mastery? Should I be doing this early in the game so I can have some surviivable distractions while I take out the trash?

Depends on your gear, party and play style. In my opinion, see what works best for you and just do that. Advice you may get from others may not be well suited to your specific needs.

I found that on my current bonemancer after u max teeth and bone spear and get ur 1pnters going 2 into bone spirit and 1 into Golem mastery every 3 levels worked extremely well. I was able to keep ahead of the curve on trash and my golems were extremely durable.

Now, heading towards 43 (which is a pain), I find out that I can easily fork out enough trouble to kill General Hatestorm and get some nice stuff, and clear out Travincal and some of the Zakarum Fortress.

One thing I cannot do is the damned Council because we have Dragonhand (phys immune + IM + Mindblast = ouch) and Vilehand (Magic immune). My summons cannot do this alone! So right now ChiasticsTwo is parked like last time he had to find a game that would let him get to Durance Two.

How about trying to lvl up a merc? Since ur heading for decrep as staple ( or stable ? ) curse, a1 phys merc can be a good idea for him

Merc is almost my level. She can do moderately well in getting some crowds under control when distracted by my golems. But when I got to Dragonhand/Vilehand, she's practically the primary target!

Well, I have to figure out why and perhaps keep my merc away if I can.

But that won't happen for a while. Read General section as to why.
