Post subject:  Summoner Druid Build and Merc Questions

Hey guys.
Got a few questions for summoner druid.
From the old forum i got this build. (Utters post)

Maxed Dire/Grizzly/HoW/Oak, 6pt in spirit, 1 in Raven, SoB, WB, Maul, SW and the vines and the rest in lycan

Apperently i made the same mistake as him and put points in spirit wolves.
Only i put 8 points :D
Are those points that crucial? or i should be fine?
I am playing on HC btw.

So far my build will look like this
20Dire/20Griz/20HoW/20Oak 8 Spirit Wolves, 1werebear/1lycanthropy
What about other 10 points?
Also in what order should i max those?

As for merc. I use so far a2 recovery merc.
In old forum it stated A1 Phys merc or A3 cold.
Should those be the ones for me to aim for?

I wouldn't remake if you're pretty far along. A pure summoner isn't going to be in SS form too much once you get teleport. I'd max oak first, pump dire until bear, max out bear, finish off dire, and HoW last. You may want to consider maxing spirit wolves anyway as I've heard you can summon both spirit and dire now. Don't forget to 1 point SoB and carrion vine.

Definitely gonna want a A1 physical rogue. Any melee merc isn't going to see much action as your summons will usually be in the way.

I like the rabies summoner variant with carrion ring

20 dire wolf
20 grizzly
20 oak OR how (pick one, I prefer oak, in some areas summons die too fast without and you need for party)
20 lycan
20 rabies (last since carrion ring is lvl68)
1 in wolf and feral, I prefer wolf for rabies, bear has slow FHR/blocking
1 in sob (any druid without sob should be executed)
