My original idea was to name the druid "WildSide" but I figured I go for a more suggestive name.
Anyhow, this would be my layout:
1 Raven*
10 Spirit Wolf
15 Dire Wolf
20 Grizzly
15 Heart of Wolverine (+1 prereq)
20 Poison Creeper
The rest of the points (If I get that far!) will be spent on maxing Dire Wolf then HoW.
My summoning priority:
1> Heart of Wolverine
2> Dire Wolf
3> Grizzly
4> Spirit Wolf
5> Poison Creeper
Why Dire Wolf before Grizzly? Because Grizzly has a reasonably large timer afaik.. and why HoW before Dire Wolf?
This is actually intended to be a party character because of his HoW, thus making the druid
less dependant on +AR gear and may actually help him attack in case he must fight; also, it will be a great boost to his summons and party members' defense, AR and damage.
WildSide's original intent was to use Oak Sage, but I've seen about 9 of 10 druids come standard with it, so why not make a druid that has a different spirit? Thus comes "itsNatural", a concept build of mine.
For the record, I've gotten used to "teleporting" the Poison Creeper towards crowds where the vines immediately come up and start poisoning the crowd before my summons get to them. When they do, they were easier to take care of. What they couldn't kill, I helped kill along with my merc, an Act 1 physical rogue.
But it's a surefire pain before Lv.20 when I should get Dire Wolf, which should be dealing decent damage once they start eating edible corpses.
But by far, I have only gotten through certain quests by helping others.
*Once I get multiple points I could use some ravens to blind monsters.
