Hi, so this is my first Rabies druid, I got the skill points down, but now comes the dilemma with weapons. I'm stuck between Plaguebearer (1os with pestilence eye) or Rune Master (4os with 4x pestilence eyes?) so Plaguebearer +6 Rabies -22% Poison res 65k Rabies damage vs. Rune Axe +3 Druid Skills -48% Poison Res and some extra poison dmg 50k rabies damage I know plaguebearer obviously does more damage, but does the poison resistance pierce count for more? maybe something to do with framerates? |

end game - Runemaster ends up outperforming the Plaguebearer. Its heavy as all hell though, so you need a good chunk of strength to pick it up. Against a lot of trash, the Plaguebearer works out just about as well but once you are hitting bosses and wanting them to die faster the extra -resist really adds up. bottom line, you can do fine with Plaguebearer for quite a while if you need to work on building up your strength to use the Runemaster. |

kk thanks, so -% poison res outweighs the extra rabies damage for bosses at least, but yeah i got enough str so that should be no problem. |

Most bosses will have around 75% psn resist or higher, so ya it makes a big impact. The runemaster adds roughly -25% psn resist 50k dmg vs monster with 75% resist = 12.5k dmg 50k dmg vs monster with 50% resist = 25k dmg 65k dmg vs monster with 75% resist = 16.25k dmg It gets even more dramatic once you build up your rabies and get over 100k dmg. |
