What exactly do his attacks in hell consist of? Is it fire and cold damage? I know he has magic damage with the spears, but what else? The ring of fire thing that nihl does also, is that just fire damage? I know sammy isn't all that tough, just thinking of what kind of absorbs I should have. I just threw one of each gem cold, fire, light, in my shield and that helped a lot. Just wondering if the topaz was a waste though. He didn't seem to be doing any lightning attacks. Anyone have any idea on the optimal absorbs for him? |

From what I can tell his hardest hitting attacks are his fissure and melee. He gets a lot easier to tank with 40 fire abs, 50%+DR%, and some block. |

Maybe, I never notice his spears because his AI doesn't use it in melee range most of the time. |

use a decent safety craft shield if the mag damage is hurting the most. I always had the most damage prom phys and fire like drrod says, his ranged attacks dont seen nearly as strong to me. |
