Gates of Arimyth :: View topic - Crushing blow character

I'm looking to make a character based around applying crushing blow fast. Basically a boss killer.

What builds would be my best bet for a crushing blow based boss killer? How would they compare to the standard of a smiter relying on crushing blow?

I should have said in my original post, a dragon talon sin is a great cb dealing char. the damage is kept low so you can kick through IM and its easy enough to hit 7 kicks. 7 frame first kick and 3 frame for the next 6 is 7 attacks in a second. GG for cb

yeh i should have mentioned that. So far i've only seen it vs duriel, you are ok if you use talon, then wait a sec and use talon again, you just gotta take a few secs between flurrys

Weird, I've done all bosses, including Sammy/Baal with talon, never had a game drop because of it. Mine was at 9kicks.

the benefit of smite is it will always hit. That is the main reason they are so strong. Guided arrow would work well in that department but the cb you deal is half as strong as with a melee hit.

Thanks, --Ozymandias check for a gris caddy with 5x ber's. 26% crushing blow with nice speed. gores +5, gulis +5, crafted gloves +5. Also an atmas ammy should help boost the dmg done by the crushing blow once it casts amp.

GG for cb Talon causes the game to crash on some bosses, the only one I currently know is Duriel since I didn't bother testing others.

When I first got back into this, was making a kicker and someone said talon makes you drop at a bunch of bosses, I didn't believe him until he went to duriel and kicked once and the game crashed.

I used talon against him once, and just clicked on him and held it. The game dropped. We went down again and I was clicking on him once with talon, Then charging up TS and using tail before using talon again. That stopped it dropping

I had never encountered it before this patch, perhaps he was given a higher counter rate or something, or did you try it this patch? Im not sure if the counter rate as reduced with the recent update. If so maybe this problem is no longer a problem
