This build will utilize Tiger Strike.

From what I am thinking this may be the setup.

15 Tiger strike
20 Dragon Talon (5 kicks at lv.25)
20 Dragon Tail (for groups and fire damage)
20 Dragon Flight (for solo target and magic damage)

Tiger Strike will only be applied to D-Tail and D-Flight as it apparently seems to me that Tiger Strike won't work on all hits of D-Talon.

Dragon Talon will be focused in tandem with Tiger Strike until Dragon Tail becomes available; D-Tail will be focused on until D-Flight (first point), then spare points will go into D-Flight while I max D-Tail.

My selection from the Psychic tree:

10 Fade
1 Mind Blast

Selection from the Traps:

1 Death Sentry (for body removal + CE Elemental damages to enemy)

Now mind you, that's a lot of points. This build will use a mercenary able to tank-up against some of the other monsters and be able to take on them while I wind up the charges and start with D-Tail.

The questions hereon are these:

1> What kind of merc is suited for this build?
2> Should a shield be used on the mercenary?
3> I'm planning on using a shield on the character. Would it be better to use a few points in Weapon Block and dual-wield claws (for the sake of + to Martial Arts claws I may get later)?
4> Has anyone tried a similar build like this? If so, is it viable? (I had to put this down.)

At Lv.18, this is what my character looks like:

50 STR
50 DEX
Points in VIT and +life give me 300 life
~25 NRG (Will need more mana in case I come across undead, don't bitch at me for doing this)

Level 19
8 Tiger Strike
11 Dragon Talon
1 Burst of Speed (Fade prereq)

STUCK!

I am changing my strategy a bit. Instead of 15 Tiger Strike, I will use 10 Tiger Strike and 5 Burst of Speed.

Why 5 burst of speed? Apparently IAS is very important to how fast you kick. BoS helps you with this. Once I get the faster IAS items, BoS will no longer be needed unless I really have to get somewhere.

Once I get D-Tail and Fade to 10, I will work on D-Flight.

You should only max 2 of 3 kicks, the other one with only 1 pt... and max fade.

vs. undead you will use mana pots. You dont need to put a single pt. in energy. Thats a waste IMO.

Meh. MEH!

IMO, I am finding that D-Tail works great vs. trash groups while D-Talon works best on single monsters. I was able to bring down Countess by switching between Tiger Strike and D-Talon (I don't have enough mana to use Tiger Strike on left button yet, and I despise mana burn monsters!).

Weapon IAS and set bonus IAS seems to help as well. Iratha's claws do not carry IAS, but the lv.20 unique (Strike Fist) has 20%. I only have one, and it currently has an %ED jewel and an Ith rune - I may use a hammer and put an Amethyst and Skull in it to help with the speed and leech.
