Is there an "area" of mf that is better than higher other areas??i mean 200-250% mf is nicer than 300+ mf?..or the bigger mf the better it is?

Also after tons of mf-lets say 1000+ is there a reason keep having that much??maybe in such high mf the difference is small? And would be no reason to try and raise it even more?

In ordinary d2 i used to have around 180-240 +- and it dropped just fine.had no reason to ask 4 more. :!:

mf is not as important in HU as in bnet vanilla, because the item drop rate here is greatly increased, and main bosses will ( almost ) always drop you more two or three unique / set item, depends of the boss. Also trash mobs drop runes so much often , not enough to do em cheap items, but enough to be able to farm 'em fairly .

The only use I see for mf here is having a massive amount of mf ( +1000% ) on a barb, and begin to "find item" ( hork ) on every corpse you encounter.

But the best way to mf. is to do frozen tundra runs, high lvl drop there. Dont worry about mf, u wont need it , barely.

my experience with mf is that i reached 500 with my summon nec, i found plenty of items in ancients and places as such, then thanks to my nice drops, new items, i had even more mf .. and the change was that i found less goodies.
2 things could occur:
1: i had luck .. ordinary luck ..at the 500 mf period
2: after a reached value u just find less good things .. dont know why.

its up to u to choose, basicly i just reduced my mf .. less mf charms and such, hopeing that its the problem. might not.

It's my experience that MF isn't necessary when fighting bosses, however when clearing tundra it's very beneficial. My friend finds ~twice as much as me due to having more MF than I do.
