Key of Anguish : Countess Key of Pain : Ardual Key of Hatred : Council Key of Terror : Hellforge Dragon Key of Destruction : Nihlathak All keys are found in hell difficulty. To access The Land of Shadows you must have hell baal completed along with, Countess Quest, Viper amulet Quest, Council Quest, Hellforge Quest and Nihlathak Quest. |

Hello there, I have a question regarding LOS...Since you obviously have been there im sure you can answer it for me. I worked my tail off to get the keys needed to open LOS twice. Both times I opened the portal and fought my way to act 3 where upon killing the boss there the portal failed to open? I was told the first time that it was a bug and that my merc must have gotten the last hit on the boss causing the portal not to open. The second time (same place) I killed my merc prior to killing the boss and the portal still did not open. I was then told that it may have been the SOB I had up? Have you heard of this problem and do you have any suggestions? (Not that Ill be there for quite some time lol). Thanks |

yeh thorns/paladin ele auras/sob etc. If the portal spawning boss died due to returned damage or from a holy aura then the portal wont spawn. Im not sure if terry fixed that or not now. |

is this updated? whats the drop rate of keys like? I've been running ardual for quite awhile and still havent dropped key. Council on the other hand dropped 3 keys for me on first run. -.- |

it's up to date yeh, took us a good few runs on nihla to get a key, and didn't get a single key from any of the council. It's just the luck of the draw. |

Find item helps a lot too....2x the drops as without it. had hellforge drop 4 keys once... |

only problem is with nihl whose doesn't leave body, but way to him is easy, 3hours clockwise from WP, lvl3 is fast skipable too(3 possible ways with 1 already seen when you enter) and then paintings on wall. Average run takes 5-6min. Btw. he drops always one uber gem, 2 runes, 2 80+lvl uniqs making him one of the best mfing boss in game (for a team) Quote: had hellforge drop 4 keys once...
